ISX 500 hp

Is the ISX 500 HP motor the same design as the ISX 15 600 HP motor? I haven't read about problems with this 11.5 L engine, is it a good engine, any known issues or problems?

I think the proper name is ISX 12 or X12

There has been one report of an ISX 12 that broke a valve off. Last I read about it was they were off the road for almost a year getting it fixed. Haven't heard any more for quite some time.
Overall it doesn't seem to have problems though. One report isn't enough to get an overall picture.
