Try running 2500 miles in a week having a 6V92 Detroit under your butt with no radio not even a CB. I had to do that once when my truck was down and this was the only replacement available.........

That's great, we're all quick to post when disappointed or dissatisfied....But I know there's more positive than negative.

I've tried to check my mpg a few times, but gen-set ends up getting in the way....Oh well!

I will jump in and give praise to Cummins. I have a mechanical 8.3 that has more than enough power power for my DP. I have been able to locate a Cummins dealer almost everywhere for filters and parts.
I do miss the olde Detroit diesel two stroke sound. I was brought up and drove many DD equipped trucks and heavy equipment. Their time has passed with the new emission laws.
