Loss of Power
Heading back to Fl after 800 miles dodging Irma (long story). 25 miles from home on 3 different occasions after stopping at traffic light when accelerating from stop coach (09 Cumm 340) would lose all power for a few seconds then kick in and run fine. Last 10 miles no problem lights & all !! all occurred on Hwy 27 from Leesburg up & down the slight hills? Any thoughts greatly appreciated !

Sounds like what happened to me in Conneticut a week ago. Stopped at a red light and when I went to pull away from the light it would only accellerate to 1500 rpm. After being towed to the Cummins service center they determined that the air valve that operates the exhaust brake had stuck in the open position so the exhaust brake stayed activated. Started and idled just like normal but no power. You might have an sticky air valve.

fuel filters is my guess (having had the same symptoms)
