Mid 128 sid 251 fmi 2

I've got a 2006 DSDP 4027 with the 400 ISL. While driving, the engine shuts off and comes back almost instantaniously and sets a check engine light. The light stays on for 30-60 seconds then goes off. No noticeable changes in how it runs and drives other than reduced power while the check engine light is on but power resumes once the light goes out. When I pulled over and ran the dashboard diagnostics, I got a MID 128 SID 251 FMI2 code and a Source 0 SPN 627 FMI 2 code. From my research it may be a power loss to the ECU.

Has anyone experienced this and if so what was the solution?

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks DAJO.

I haven't seen that list before. Do you know how to get the actual fault code once you know the MID 128 SID 251 FMI 2? The link showed it to be either a 319 - Real time clock or a 434 - Battery voltage at AC below normal.

It is almost impossible to find any Cummins fault code information on the internet that is reliable. Even the Cummins people don't seem to know but they are willing to charge you for ever hour they spend learning.
