I have found pumps from $42 plus $20 shipping to $150.

Has anyone had success with buying a water pump for an 8.3L Cummins mechanical engine from a vendor other than Cummins?

NAPA is a good recommendation. New Pump delivered to store was $76. Plus someone local to holler at if it doesn't work.

Thanks

These folks are a good waterpump source. A little expensive but a good pump.

The NAPA water pumps are from Gates and Midland (reman). Neither of these pump's pulley have the belt rib that my pulley currently has.

It appears the newer ISC engine uses the smooth pulley.

Is the pulley belt rib a necessary feature of the water pump for the mechanical cummins?

Update:

Slow day today, so I am posting followups that I should have some time ago.

1. The Napa water pump is working fine.
2. A belt rib on the pulley is not necessary.
3. However, the water pump paint has turned rusty. :(
