The results we tell you if it the oil needs changing.
Some lesser quality oil filters should be changed annually reguardless of the analysis results.
Unless you understand engine wear and oil analysis, I would steer clear of making decisions on extending drain intervals based on oil analysis. I have noted in these forums that you guys spend several $100K on a coach and want to go cheap on oil changes. Why do you risk such an investment? You do not save much money but risk much. Large truck fleets do extend drain intervals and do not do oil analysis. That does not make it right but they can better afford the risk as they have extensive operating history and they do not try to squeeze every mile out of a quart of oil. Even they have limits.

Analysis can tell you if you have dusting occurring and to what extent the dust ingestion is causing undue wear. In an earlier post it was stated that Blackstone Labs uses 'universal averages'. That is really risky but to a customer who does not have a series of samples that gives a much more accurate picture of THAT engine's wear personality, it is a short cut....of dubious value.
