Need some help. I can't seem to get my oil dip stick out to check my oil capacity. It's stuck. I can unscrew but it will not pull out of the tube. Any suggestions?

Hi munchie,
Call Spartan and have the last 6 digits of your VIN. The tube may be on their recall list. Some tubs were touching the exhaust manifold and melted. It is not easy, to check, if you have the time, you might want to try.

The dipstick on my ISC can be very difficult to get out, particularly if I don't check it regularly (at least monthly). My problem is that the rubber around the top sticks to the tube it sels into. I would try spraying some penetrating oil/WD 40/spray silicone around the top as best you can and let it set 30 min or so, then see if you can get it out.
