The lead came off my sender and when I went to look at it I found 2 leads that spread only 2 inches. There does not appear to be any other place close enough to connect the 2nd lead.

Regardless of which lead I place on the sender, the gage won't work. I've even replaced the gage, to no avail.

Can anyone tell me where the 2nd lead goes?
Or, am I chasing a phantom?

Tommy,

That makes sense but my sender has only 1 place for connection.

Do you remember where you got your replacement sender, what the number is and what it cost?

Tommy,

I don't believe I have an alarm but my Silverleaf VMsPC display has the alarm feature, which is on all the time the engine is running (I just can't tolerate a gage that doesn't work).

I'll try Henderson's.

Thanks.
