Sundancer268 Member Gulf Streamers Club Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Charlevoix, Michigan Posts: 53	I have an new Cummins Factory replacement Exhaust Manifold to install on my B5.9 and prior to installing it I want to drill and tap for a future Pyrometer probe. What size hole and tap should I use, also where is the best place to place the future probe for the most accurate and responsive readings? __________________ GSMC(SW) U.S. Navy (RETIRED) 1967-10-03 to 1993-11-01 1995 Gulf Stream Scenic Cruiser, Cummins B5.9, Allison MD3060, Toad: 2005 Focus ZXW SES Wagon

Dirtbuster Senior Member Fleetwood Owners Club Join Date: Sep 2010 Posts: 272	I would ask Cummins for their input. It is their motor design. I would assume it would be after the exhaust side of the turbo, but that is just a guess! I would also ask Brazel's or other vendor's on this site! Good Luck __________________
