The line coming from the tank to the filter is copper. From there to the mech pump that is driven by the flywheel is also copper. From there it is cloth covered fuel line to the large fuel filter water separator. Then to the injector pump.It did seem a little better after I replaced both filters but not good enough to much more than around the block. I do not see a eclectic lift pump.

You May want to verify if these lines are copper. Diesel fuel and copper do not play well together. Maybe there a copper coloured plastic line?

Sorry took so long to reply. Took a while to replace the lift pump. Just got back from a short trip . Seems good. Leaving for a longer trip shortly. I will let you all know when I get back.
