Hi,
My ISL 400 is coming up on it's 5 year birthday and I want to have it gone over throughly before the warranty is up. Can anyone recommend a good shop in Southern Calif. for this purpose. I also would like to have a good general chasis inspection as well. I have used Cummins Cal Pacific of Irvine in the past and wasn't to impressed with the level of service during a lube oil and filter.

Not is SO. Cal, but Masseys Diesel in Phoenix is one of the best. Also excellent for Spartan chassis. Tom is the Service manager who meets, greets and personally checks work and does the test drive. His shop has performed all annual engine and chassis maintenance on my unit since new. It is almost a 700 mile drive for me.

I have used Colton Truck Terminal Garage in Colton and very pleased with their service. An appointment is necessary as they are very busy .... always a good sign.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions for cummins work in the So Cal area. Sounds like Colton Truck would be the the closest and will probably give the a shot. I'm going to have and oil analysis done along with coolant change and transmission filter changed.

Another vote for Colton Truck Service. Good service, fair prices, no bad surprises. Over the counter parts are reasonable too.
