Speedometer Too Fast

Here is a good one. Our speedometer is readingh about 5% too fast.
That means we are putting 5% more miles on the coach than is actually driven. When I talked to the Freightliner guys they told me they could do nothing about the extra miles and depreciation they caused.
Any on have any ideas?

I'm not sure if you want advice on getting the 5% mile off the odometer or how to fix the speedo so it is reading correctly.

An authorized Freightliner shop should be able to fix the speedo error problem.

As to the increase mileage on the odometer, if it was me, I'd just forget about it. If this is a show coach and the objective is to keep the mileage as low as possible, the error might mean something. At 50K miles on the odometer, the error would be only 2.5K miles. For me that is not enough miles to add any depreciation to a coach's value.
