Stanadyne
Hi wondered what the thoughts on Stenadyne as an additive to the fuel in my 275hp Cummins. Have just picked up the rig and this is my first dielsel pusher. I have a TDi beetle that I use this additive with all the time.

Diesel fuel additives are listed according to their lubricating properties and effectiveness in this HFRR additives study/test. You'll note the first place additive is 2% biodiesel.
That is for lubricating additives only, it does not address an additives ability to prevent gelling.

Where do you get Stanadyne? I never found any. I use Diesel Kleen, it has cetane boost and you can get the antifreeze option, white bottle. But TC-W3 is twice as good.

Get Stanadyne off EBAY. I use the Performance Formula.
Here is a link to Stanadyne dealer locator.

I use the Stanadyne performance formula too. I get it at Southwest Metro Fuels in Richland Hills, TX.
