Can anyone tell me where the temp. sending units are located on my 1994 HR Navigator Cummins 300 engine and 6 speed Allison transmission. I need to replace both engine and transmission sensors.

Yeah I would like to know also. I have made an appointment with a buddy who is going to give me a tour of the engine and sensors, if I get the info before you I will post pics. I am going to learn all I can on the 8.3

More than likely you will only need to clean the connections. With that old, the connections are probably just dirty. That is what my 1995 power train. The Engine Temp sensor will be near the Thermostat at engine end of the upper radiator hose.

I also would like to know the location of the trans sensor, as well as the way it should control the Transmission Cooling Fan. My gauge works just fine, but the cooling fan never activates on it's own, only by the switch on my dash. This is suppose to be automatic, right? On a 1994 Monaco Dynasty, C8.3-250, Allison 6 Speed Automatic.

Right click the image with your mouse.

Select "view image"

Click On the image then hold down your control key and scroll the image larger with your mouse wheel or arrow button.

This procedure works on most Windows machines.

Yeah, I had tried that, still to small. (Original was only 640x480). I'm assuming the website reduced it on upload?

Luckily he emailed me a wonderful 3200x2500 original!! (Funny how my eyesight seems to diminish with time, that was't in the brochure.)
