Turbo and EGR Cleaning

Has anyone used the "Wynns Turbo Cleaner" fuel additive for diesel engines in their coach?

I know Power Service products are endorsed by Cummins, but they do not have a fuel additive formula designed to clean the EGR valve and turbo by reading through their literature.

We have found that a Water/Methanol system will do a excellent job cleaning both intake system and EGR valve. Will also pick up some performance with this system we purchased from Snow Performance.

Isn't it sprayed into the turbo inlet ?

They make both.

One is an aerosol that is sprayed repeatedly into the turbo inlet while the engine is running and the other is a cleaning agent added to the fuel tank.

Worked in trucking industry during my working days. Small chain with 85 tractors that ran 11 million miles a year. All Cummins engines. We used quality engine oil and stayed on mfg. recommend maintenance schedule. No genie in a bottle solutions for engine maintenance. Do not believe in mechanics in a bottle. These are just people trying to get your$$$ by prying on your fears. Do what makes you feel good. Me Iím saving my money.

Enjoy the journey
