That's what Cummins NW put in my ISX when they rebuilt it.
Seems like Cummins would know from testing what oils work in their engines.

I suspect any number of brand name oils would do just fine for use in RVs. Perhaps even the Tech brand oil sold by Walmart is probably made by a major refiner and probably meets minimum specs for a diesel lubricant. I started using Premium Blue 14 year and 165k miles ago-- it was the sticker that was on the Cummins when we bought it. We travel 4-6 months per year, coach is on the road nearly 12 months per year, for trips short and long, so no long-term storage. Still change oil and filter once a year [about 10-12k miles]. On sale, I can usually get it for $13-14 per gal. Once heard that Cummins owned both Valvoline and Fleetguard--maybe yes, maybe no--still buy both......

I use Valvoline Premium Blue. If its good enough for Cummins to put in their new engines, it good enough for me.

I use the Valvoline Blue, when I first bought the coach I took it for inspection/service at Cummins and that's what they use/recommend.

Also, about twice a year Autozone has a sale on the Valvoline Blue and I will stock up, always having enough on hand to do an oil change.
