My lift pump was replaced due to a leak and now the dash warning light comes on within about a minute. The diagnostics code indicated is 278 which indicates lift pump circuit. The RV is a 2003 Monaco Camelot with a 350 Cummins ISC. Mileage is 39,599 miles. The replacement pump came from Cummins and was described as a "universal'" newer pump which fits my engine. We have checked everything we can think of and the RV has had filters changed and new fluids. I would like to avoid the Cummins shop if possible if there is something else we may due to troubleshoot.

Thanks for the pdf files. After another round of checking the connections and incidentally finding a tool that had apparently fallen during the course of the install and lodged in the vicinity of the lift pump the warning light has gone out.

Glad you were able to solve the problem with no cash to Cummins.

Thank you for closing out the story.
