Does anybody know what the part number is for a water pump for my 94 gulfstream tourmaster on a spartan chassis with the 8.3 250 horse motor? Mine died yesterday and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cummins C 8.3? Cummins WP kit is 3800975. O-ring seal is 3902089 should come in the kit. Cummins water pumps may be more expensive than aftermarket replacements but carry Cummins warranty, good at any Cummins distributor or authorized Cummins OEM dealer like Kenworth, International, Peterbilt, etc.

I bought a $70 pump from Napa Auto Parts and installed it. It has worked fine for two trips of over 7,000 miles.

Cummins wanted a lot more money and their original pump failed anyway.

However, its paint has turned a rusty color.

I believe it was made by Gates Manufacturing.

I got the pump from Cummins today. It was easy to take out, and hopefully easy to put back in. I'll find out later.
