Water Pump Leak 300 ISB

March this year water pump shaft seal leaking, replaced pump. Rtn trip from Il water pump O ring leaking, replaced O ring, test drive all good. Today Rtn from trip and it appears the O ring again leaking. Seems to be in the area of the lower bolt. Anyone know if this bolt goes into the water jacket? I did not put sealer on threads when I installed new O ring. Motor does not run over 200 temp, Any ideas as to why pump may be leaking? Thanks for reply. Jake Oh yea, 2003 ISB 300.

I have the same year and motor.
When I put a new water pump on last year ,I did not put sealer or silicone on any bolts. No leaks at all.

Pump might have bad casting or you pinched oring installing. Me personally pumps are cheap enough I would put another pump and ring.

Well folks turns out the water pump is fine. Turns out the rectangular O rings on the water inlet are leaking. Oh well, here I go again.
