Hi guys,
we just purchased a 2004 itasca horizon, and trying to do our registration paperwork from out of state (California) . this requires a peace officer anywhere to fill up the VIN verification, etc. on the paper, it says to check the Emission label, if it indicates it means EPA standards, or EPA + California standards. There is also an option for "none". I dont want the peace officer to check "none" if it has one of them, so i wanted to show him/her where it is located. Im sure they wont know where it is. I poked around the engine with a flash light and couldnt find any sticker that says Emissions on it... is it because there is none? or am i looking in the wrong place?
I dont know if they had this in 2004...

Thanks!!

The only decal for id purposes on any cummins engine I have seen is usualy on the side of the timing chain cover (passenger side) , if nothing else it will give you engine serial then just call cummins and ask.

I found it ! took off the compartment under the closet and took this photo. It meets US EPA + California standards.
