I recently bought a 2005 Itasca Horizon 40ad that has a Freightliner chassis with an ISL 400 Cummins. I'm trying to find the owners manual / maintenance manual for it. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to get it?

You can buy the ISL manuals online at the Cummins store.

Can't say I've seen them available as a download anywhere. Not cheap.

The FCOC site has general owner and maint manuals for the chassis and does include some basic engine info...

Would also suggest that you check out Camp Freightliner, a two-day class taught in SC that is terrific for new owners.

I use Quickserve and AccessFreightliner all the time.

You might try a search on e-bay, as I just recently purchased two Cummins ISC manuals for my RV through them, and got them for a very reasonable price since they were used. I would not be afraid of buying used manuals as both of mine were posted as 'used condition' and were received in very good condition.

First, be sure which engine you actually have. The title of the thread says you want a manual for an 8.3L Cummins, but then you say you own an ISL. The ISL is an 8.9L engine, while the 8.3L is an ISC.

Given that you have a Horizon, I suspect it is an ISL 8.9L, but wanted to make sure you don't buy the wrong manual.
