3126 intermittent problem

1998 Safari Serengeti with a 300hp 3126, 34,000 miles.

I have something strange that only happens right after I stop to refuel and even then infrequently. It doesn't happen every time, maybe every fifth or six top offs. What happens is; I stop to fill up, and after I'm done and pulling out of the gas station, right about the time I'm accelerating onto the road, the engine loses power suddenly and a warning light comes on. It only lasts for about one second, and the engine picks up again and the warning light goes off. This happens so quickly, and for such a short period of time, I never get a good look at the warning light. I think it says something about the intake.

Other than that , the engine starts and runs great, and never misses a beat. I don't recall this happening at any other time. Any ideas?

Nope, haven't taken it to have it checked for any codes. Guess I'll have to do that. I find it really strange that it only happens after topping off my fuel. Of course that's pretty much the only time I'm shutting down a hot engine for a just few minutes and restarting.
