Just had a quote from the local Freightliner Dealer for a Far 114880-3 for $78.61. I have a 2001.5 Discovery with a 3126E Cat. Baldwin makes a air filter, PA3493 which also fits.

My Meridian with 3126E CAT uses the following filter:
Air Filter ECO-SE
Racor P/N 114880-003
Filter Model ECO-SE 9.8 X 18 BI

Available at anyplace that handles truck parts.

Just an FYI....Normally it is the chassis maker that supplies the air filter not the engine maker...

As stated above, typically CAT will specify the filter requirements and the chassis builder installs the filter. If you cannot read anything from the old filter, your best bet would be to contact the chasssis manufacturer with your VIN. I have found they occasionally change filters even on the same model of motorhomes.

The same with the fuel filters, but the chassis maker doesn't always do what the engine maker specs...On mine Cat specified a 2 micron fuel filter but it came from Freightliner with a 10 micron filter...They did this for a few years and installed only 1 filter...

Movin-on is correct in stating that the Air Filter is supplied by the chassis maker, not the engine maker although the Engine Maker does does give guidelines.

There are many options as some have already been stated before:
Farr 114880-003 FARR FILTER ECO-SE 9 3/4" SIDE INLET PN: FAR 114880 3

Cummins Filtration PN: AH1197

Donaldson PN: P53-7454

Hope this helps!

Better call your chassis maker and get the straight stuff from them. I went to pick up one from Freightliner and when they brought it out it was obivously the wrong one in size. Then he got on computer with my VIN and yes it was not what the parts guy picked based on just my asking for 3126 air filter.

A digital camera, a tape measure and an understanding parts person at AutoZone and I was on my way. With the Wix P/N written on the mount bracket and in the owners manual, one more problem solved.
