I never run mine until the temp gauge has moved off the peg and haven't experienced the hesitation that you describe .

What is your oil pressure guage reading? it should be at 50 at a cold start. Start driving it & u will see it as high as 65 if you don't let it warm up. It's not an oil issue if it's that high.

I have a 330 cat with 17k miles. It has been great so far. It just seems to take a little long to start. Takes about 2 seconds to start. Is that normal?

Mine does the same thing , as soon as the "Wait to Start" light goes out I hit the starter if it doesn't fire within 5 seconds of cranking I cycle the key switch to off and go through the same " Wait to Start" and it fires right up. There's never been a problem with mine.

My 02 3126E is also cold blooded....I've learned to turn on the block heater when temps get down around 40 deg....Starts right up as long as I do this...
