C7 350HP Check Engine Light

On my recent trip back from FL, my C7 has been throwing a Check Engine and then Stop Engine light to the dash. It usually happens when accelerating up and entrance ramp, depressing the accelerator at Highway speeds or climbing a grade. It goes off after about 2-3 seconds. There is no noticeable increases in Engine or Transmission Temp and the Oil Pressure remains constant. The perfromance is fine and accleration does not stop.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Had similar problem last year. Checked the codes in my VMSP program and it indicated "low fuel pressure." Changed the fuel filters and solved the problem.

Thanks for the info, I checked the coolant level before leaving FL and all was Okay. The Fuel filters were changed in October before going to FL. The rig did sit for 4 months with 3/4 of a tank of fuel but the filters only had 1200 miles on them. Do you thing the fuel could have gotten contaminated, I use Pri-D treatment at every fuel stop.

Algae growth in the tank is a problem for those folks who winter in FL for a few months. Adding an algacide additive is a good idea in this situation. If you do determine you have an algae problem in your fuel, you need to add the algacide and probably change your fuel filters twice in the next 6 months or so.

Normally you need to only change your fuel filters every 12 months with your annual oil change for the diesel rigs.

Well the coach is in the repair shop and the verdict is in. The error codes indicate High Exhaust Temps. The cause is the Charge Air Cooler is leaking in fact it is rotted out, no hope of repair a new one is on order.
