C7 boost level?

Caterpillar C7 question. What boost psi levels are you guys seeing on your dash readout under full load? I'm seeing 26psi max but hearing higher boosts of 30 to 32psi on FB pages so I'm wondering if I have a leak I'm my boots or intercooler or if I'm at the correct level? Tia

Caterpillar says the boost range for that engine is 0 - 28 psi, I see 25-26 psi at full load.

You can call CAT with your engine serial number and they can tell you what the boost was when the engine was tested on the dynamometer after it was built. They sent me the test report.

At 26 lbs you are fine as the maximum boost is controlled by the waste gate. Now like I posted on another post my boost kept losing boost over 2 years of running and was down to 18 lbs. The CAC was leaking badly and replaced it and now the boost is back to 26-27 LBS. Being this happened over two years I didn't think I had much power loss. Was I ever wrong as now with full boost it's performs a whole lot better and really responsive.

May I ask, what are "FB" pages? We too only see 26/26.5/27 at full throttle. And, 27 is REALY rare. If you had any form of a leak, you wouldn't even come close to the 26 you see.

I looked back over what I had read for boost and I misread what motor the poster had. He had a c13 and was seeing 32lbs of boost. Guess I was to focused on Cat and boost. Sorry guys but thank you for posting your boost pressures.
