Take bolt size 3/8 whatever and look online for the toque for that bolt size.

When I did mine I made them tight but not to tight.

Now I have a question I forgot should I use any gasket sealer with the gasket or just install it as-is.

Thanks Joe

I installed mine dry so far but I need specs to tighten them. my problem with German specs is that's when I usually break a bolt LOL. I tried to look the bolt up online but there is a pretty big span and several sites contradict each other they are metric bolts but the only markings are CAT on the head no 8.8 or anything else. thanks

Here are the torque spec pages out of the Caterpillar Operation and Maintenance Manual that came with my 3126E. If you don’t have a thread gauge bring one of the bolts to Home Depot, Ace or other hardware store and they’ll hook you up, or call Cat.
