I did see that the 2007 engines that have a DPF do have an hourly recommendation. The others are by time and miles. This does not help the OP as C9's are not covered. I am sure they have a similar document. The 19 qt. engines ( KAL) are 11,000 miles and one year. No mention of fuel used.

Moisheh,

What does refer to O-M manual for SOS on KAL engines mean in the oil change chart.

S.O.S is Cat's engine oil analysis program. I don't know what O-M manual means.

I know what the O-M means. Its on the cover of my Engine Manual. It stands for Cat Operation and Maintainance Manual. I don't know what SOS stands for.

S-O-S (Scheduled Oil Sampling) S-O-S fluid sample analysis that helps you monitor your motor, trans, diff and hyd oil, and gives you easy-to-read reports and recommendations for identifying problems. I run samples on all my diesel motors.
