Have a Jayco Motorhome with a Cat engine. Changed one fuel filter. While driving all of sudden no power goes 15 to 20 miles an hour. Don't know what is wrong.

We have a 2004 C7.
A C7 requires a 2 micron filter.
If a two filter system, the sediment and water filter could be a 10 micron or 15 micron. It will be followed by a 2 micron final filter.
If you don't heed this, your injectors will be ruined when contaminants come thru.
Had an experienced guy help us roadside; even he was told the wrong filter to install. Do some homework and carry a list of known filters that are meant for your coach.

I have followed Mike Coty's good advice from Camp Freightliner and carry spare filters and belts in vacuum sealed bags. If the failure occurs on the road, rather than convenient to parts houses, I have them for the tech and will not have to worry about using what ever might be on hand.

Seemed like an inexpensive, but good idea.
