Hi
Im contemplating doing my own Coolant change on the MH. I had CAT ELC put in about 6 years ago and figure its about time to change that out?? Any words of wisdom on doing this? I believe last time I had it done, it was the concentrate not the 50/50 mixture..it took roughly 10 gallons? I checked my local Diesel part dealer today, they carry the Delo concentrate at 12.00+/- a gallon but obviously I want the CAT ELC...havent called my local CAT dealer yet....approx cost?
Thanks for any info
Dwight

I just bought a gallon of Cat ELC premixed for $18.73 at a heavy truck repair place (not a Cat dealer).

Buy the ELC concentrate at CAT and dilute with distilled water. That is what I did.

Dwight,

CAT ELC is manufactured by Chevron under the Delo ELC name. It is the exact same formula without the large CAT markup.
