I have a 2006 C7 in a 2007 Itasca Meridian 36G (Freightliner Chassis) which randomly displays "Check Engine" followed by "Stop Engine" for a few seconds, which then clears itself. First time this occured was about a year ago, then only infrequently untill about a month ago when it displayed while going up every grade, both from a start as well as when up to speed. This alarm has mostly occurred while ascending a grade, but recently also occurred when I was accelerating on the level through an Interstate Hwy entrance. I have an appointment at a Cat service dealer on 10/12, since a recent Freightliner service shop could not identify a cause of alarm. I have read of similar RV problems which talk about problems related to low oil level, low coolant fluid level, bad oil pressure sensor, even a bad turbo and that Cat had some problems of this nature in 2006/2007 C7's. Is there anything conclusive that I can refer to when going to Cat service next monday?

Read my thread "stop engine / check engine" in this forum. My was a bad relay switch having to do with the turbo boost. It may help.
