complete service on a 330 cat

the dealer wants $2775 to do a complete service of the cat and the gen. all oil and filters changed also on the transmission and it will have a 1 yr service agreement with that price. How much does it normally cost for just the oil & filter service on the power train and generator?

Just completed a similar service at cat dealer in Augusta ga and do not think I had tranny serviced but all other pm was completed for 1239.00. So 1500 for tranny pm sounds high.

I think I would shop around. I get mine serviced at a local diesel shop. It includes 21 qts. of oil, Cat. oil and fuel filters and PA state inspected for $200. I service the 7500 diesel gen. myself. Oil is $12. and $4.50 for filter. Less than $250. and I am ready for the year. I grease it several times through the year and that way I know the fan hub gets grease. Very Very inportant.

I use Cumins Bridgeway and the basic engine, generator, and lube including filters was around $400. I had the transmission serviced including a filter change, air dryers, Air filter and all that was about $600
