We have a 2004 Itasca Meridian with a Cat C7.
it statred this mornig just fine idled for a few minutes and died. Now it won't restart, turns over fine, has ample fuel, drained oil water seperator, turned engine over with filter off and see no fuel flow, any ideas or help out there.

Does your fuel pump have a fuse?

hi PTA and

You've already checked the things I would but I'm sure our experts will be around to chime in soon.

A problem with some earlier C-7's are fuel (Heui) pump failures...Sounds like it may be your problem if no fuel...Maybe time to call Cat...

The Cat's have a high oil pressure scenser for injection oil pressure .This pressure is around 300 lbs. They do fail . Engine runs fine then next time you try to start it will not fire. What it is telling the computor there is no oil pressure to fire the injectors. The part is about $125.00

Thanks to all who replied, but especially to whoever said call FTLHELP.

They nailed it dead on. We lost the prime on our fuel pump, all I had to do was pressurize the fuel tank ( put an aircompressor hose in the fuel filler wrapped in a rag) and bingo she fired right up.

Thanks again for all the interest and suggestions.
