Hey guys just installed the MP-8 on my 3126E Cat. Here are some photo's of the install to help others if they need a visual. First you need to disconnect the Chassis batteries, or the chip will not work. The blue circle is the location for the map sensor harness, it is located to the rear of the engine. there will be two harnesses, make sure you connect to the one that is located to the map sensor which goes to the intake (upper left of pic)

LOL AZtortuga, someone knows this area well !!!!!! I'm curious myself, I just drove up Hwy68 last weekend going to williams for a little operation cool shade :-) My aero 5050xl should be here tomorrow and i will install a new 5" pipe out the back. Then i will take her for a run up the hill again. I was able to do 55mph pulling my rhino and full tanks last weekend.

Pete,
If you don't want to lift up your bed to access your MP-8 I ran my rotary switch over to the nearest outside storage compartment for easier access. How do you like the difference in HP and torque?

I have this on my Journey and can not tell anything different.
After reading your post about needing to disconnect the chassis batteries, I spoke with the company, they said that wasn't necessary.
Have you have time to see if there is a difference in this on your RV?
Thanks, Ricky

Ricky. Yes you have to disconnect the batteries to reset the computer. I noticed great improvement on the low end acceleration. I also added the aero 5050xl muffler also.

One of the first things that the directions state are to disconnect your chassis batteries prior to the install. This will reset your ECM when you have completed the project. I have a switch for my batteries ad simply turn them to the off position.

The tech support guy at TS Performance is a moron. I called him when I experienced the same issue and all he could say was, "drive it around some more." When I asked him how much R&D the unit was given before being offered for sale, he had no idea. I don't think he even knew what R&D meant.

After visiting another thread in this forum, I was told to disconnect my batteries for a few minutes. This solved the problem and I noticed an immediate difference in performance. It's sad when users of a product know more about the product than it's "tech support" people do...
