Every oil change pull a sample. Didn't see where a dealer had done a rebuild. By the way your oil sample looked like the oil had very very low miles on it, so fairly fresh oil. Safe Travels

thanks again for the response

the oil only has about 4500 miles om it from last change .

some won't like it but I change the oil every 2 years ( about 10,000 miles )
but I do change and top up the oil filter ever year . and only use synthetic
5 w 40 oil . as I have found out if I buy the oil on sale I save money by doing it this way and I believe the oil is better on the engine + up until we start putting more miles on the coach I can save on oil changes

thanks dave

The one thing you really need to keep an eye on when doing the long oil change interval is the oil picking up moisture. How much of a concern that is depends if live or stay in a high humidity location. Also you might be better off doing a oil sample once a year since you are doing long oil change intervals. This way if you are having a problem -dirt entry or moisture contamination etc- you'll see it sooner.
Safe Travels

good idea about the once a year sample . I do store the coach inside a heated garage . so I am always tinkering on it and up dating everything kind of like a expensive hobby that wont go away

thanks dave
