Premium Cat brand oil filter

Can one of you fine fellers give me the Cat part number for their best oil filter for a C-7. I understand they have more than one level of filter and I want to be as nice as I can to my HEUI fuel system. My understanding is 10-30 oil and their best filter is the most likely to prevent HEUI issues. They recommend 15-40 for engines over 500,000 miles to help maintain oil pressure.

I think the C7 takes High Efficiency filter 1R1807, my C9 takes a 1R1808

Jim,
The 1R1807 is the high efficiency cat filter for your engine. Absolute micron rating 24
The Donaldson DBL 7483 Blue is a little better. Absolute micron rating 15

Which filter are you asking about?
A lot of the Donaldson suppliers use this number ELF 7483
I get my Donaldson filters from Truckhelp.com they are in the Portland Or
area and ship and they have the best price I have found.

Donaldson's standard P551807 is the same as 1R1807 but the 7483 is their best.

The Cat filters should be at any Cat parts dealer.

Jim,
If you go to truckhelp.com and when it comes up on the left panel click
on truck parts the next screen on the left enter elf7483 it will bring up
the filter.
DBL 7483 is the new part number but a lot of retail shops still using the
old number of EFL 7483.
They ship fast and not old stock I get most of my filters from them because of this and the price is right.

I normally get a order in 3 days from them.

They are the best price I have found and with free shipping it is even better and most important I have never had to refuse a item because of problems.
I only wish they carried the Parker F/W filters but you can not have everything.
