Has anyone used Rush Truck Center in Escondido, Ca. for work on their Cat engine? If so how would you rate them? I have some minor engine work and would rather not drive to San Diego if possible. Thanks

Check at this web site and read the reviews. I see there are two different Rush Truck Centers in CA.

I know Gaffney has a rep for good FL service but where is the authorized Cat service center with the likewise rep?

I have only used the parts department for filters, fluids, etc...(parts guy seemed pretty sharp). I did talk to the service department and plan on taking mine there if any warranty issues come about.

You might inquire iif they will work on your rv.
I just called the local near me Rush place Pico Rivera and about a full service lube and a valve adjustment, they said they do not work on rvs and none of the truck centers do.

The Escondido shop does work on MH's. I talked to the mechanic who does the work and he was very helpful. I will be getting the work done next week.

I wonder why they told me that and why the differences in their truck centers. Oh well

Things have a way of working out. When I stopped by my storage facility this morning I went in the office to check out some of their display of business cards , the manager asked what I was looking for, he said call this guy, he is good and will come out in his truck and service you.
Well I did. I got a 1st classs lube and oil change, fuel filter change, he crawled around inspecting things and pulled the lanyards to drain my air tanks etc. $220.00

I didnt ask him about the valve adj. He has over 20yrs experience in the rv. industry with some of the big name dealers. With the economy slow he said he wasnt making a living anymore with the dealers, on his own he is doing well and hasnt looked back.
