I have an 04 C7 330, and want to replace the two coolant regulators. Does anyone know the torque setting on the six bolts than hold down the housing?

Since nobody else has responded, let me give it a try. According to my Cat Operations & Maintenance Manual the "Standard Torque for Inch Fasteners" is:

1/4" -- 9 ft lbs (+or- 2)
5/16" -- 18 ft lbs (+or- 4)
3/8" -- 35 ft lbs (+or- 7)
7/16" -- 50 ft lbs (+or- 11)
1/2" -- 75 ft lbs (+or- 15)
9/16" -- 120 ft lbs (+or-22)

The book also has specs for Taperlock Studs, metric fasteners and metric Taperlock. Hope this helps to get you in the ballpark.

Thank you Denny and Bob, that should be enough info for me. I receive "0" manuals, books, guides for anything on this coach. The owner traded it in on a car(must have been a high $$ car) and he said the manual packet was in one one his six houses somewhere. Like my dealer said, why, why, would anyone store all that anywhere but in the coach. So, over the last 18 months, I have ordered, scrounged everything I can. The only thing I really don't have is the CAT manual, Denny refers to. Between what I've scrounged, the FL chassis class with Mike Cody and my informative friends on this forum, I am pretty well set. Thanx, guys, you are most helpful
