Post Trouble codes

Hello all. My 05 Fleetwood Excursion warning system came on and I had it scanned to find out what trouble code. According to the paperwork, they found trouble code 128-84-1.
I was advised to take the rig to an authorized CAT dealer.
Any idea what this might entail? Costs? Time to fix?
Have an appointment to drop off to CAT authorized repair shop in three days.

The 84-1 code indicates loss of vehicle speed signal.

Could be faulty sensor, located in the back end of the transmission, or a bad connection (two wires going to the sensor. Or a bad connection at the pins in the ECU.

X2 and concour.
I'd be looking around under there some, while waiting on my apptoint and hopefully be able to cancel.
Nothing is cheap at a dealership, but will say this and after having my genset worked on at Cummins, it was a lot more reasonable with what they did, than what I was charged for a simple problem with our Jeep, at a local dealership.
Yes, simple and do a lot of work myself, even though getting up in age. Thing is with the Coach, the genset weighs over 400lbs and help is hard to get. With the Jeep, it was in a MacDonald's parking lot and wouldn't move, so with the garage a few miles up the road, I decided to go for it. Let's face it, Dealerships are very scary places...

Turned out to be the ECM sensor and air filter replacements.

Good news. Air filter and new sensor and......new software for $1080.00! Not a bad price.

Thanks to all for input!
