1997 allison MD3060 code 2112

Are the codes for my '97 the same as an '09 Allison? Went by an Allison dealer and the service manager handed me a book on an '09 tranny. 2112 in the '09 book says it is a throttle position sensor-failed low! Does anybody have any idea what the fix is if the codes mean the same?

The MD 3060 Allison I believe have the same codes.
The 21 12 code is in fact a code indicating an issue with your Tps--Throttle Position Sensor.
Read this and save= Allison Transmission Codes Manual
If your not mechanically inclined - I would suggest you visit a certified Allison Shop for further evaluation.
It may just need an adjustment - Allison has a tool that plugs into your Allison TCU Plug under your dash used to adjust the pulse count each time your cable is adjusted back at the Transmission.

Thanks Chuck. I had thought the codes would be the same, but just don't know for sure until you ask. Appreciate your time, Bill
