Are there any flashes and or updates to the 2500 series. I just want to keep all of my parts in top condition.

I don't know if it applies to your year, but I just had a recall update performed which changes the shift point of the transmission. I received a recall notification.

I think the only way you will get relevant info for YOU, is to crawl under and get the serial number off the transmission, then call the allison help desk and have them do a search in their systems. They'll tell you whether there are any updates for your specific transmission.

Unless you receive a field action notification, there is no need to update Allison software. Allison does not push updates to the control system like the drivers on a desktop computer.

Call Allison with your transmission serial number.
