My 05 F650 Rollback has a whirring/whining that seems to be coming from the transmission. It almost sounds like a differential that has a bad pinion bearing. Usually more noticeable at higher speeds and when under a load. When coasting it disappears. We tried duplicating it with the truck up on stands, but with no load on it - its hard to hear. Its very annoying, but has no effect on trans operation.Any ideas?
