Where can I buy original allison filters for the 36 month filter change, I need both filters the 2 and four inch ones. I tried looking on line and found substitutes but I want the OEM. Thanks all

Allison dealers do have them, but so did my local Freightliner dealer (where I purchased mine).

I order all my filters and service parts from https://www.rvchassisparts.com/rally.asp

Go to that site and look under Chassis Mechanical Systems.

I just bought a 4" sump filter kit #29548988 from my local Allison dealer, Stewart Stevenson, for $53 + tax. The 2" sump filter kit #29548987 is about $5 cheaper. This dealer is also selling Transynd synthetic ATF for $30/gal.

I just called the shop in Phar and was quoted $40 a gallon for Trandsynd and $67 for the 29548987 filter kit.

Do they carry Allison made filters or just filters by secondary market made to fit Allison transmissions? I've found filters on cheaper eBay made by Baldwin and other suppliers but not sure if any of these are Allison OEM. Does Allison manufacturer their own filters and will Allison made filters have an Allison stamp on them anyplace?

When I bought from RVCHASSISPARTS.COM, they were Allison brand filter kits at a reasonable price.

I buy mine from rvchassisparts.com ----- they are the Spartan chassis manufacturer and the filter kits are Allison parts. I think the last filter kits that I bought from them was $54.00 plus shipping. The filter kit comes with all of the necessary gaskets and a new O ring for the sump plug that you take out to drain the sump.
