Allison 3000 Shifting in 6th gear

My Allison 3000 has been shifting abruptly in 6th gear. I essentiallly feel jerking motion at times when I need to accelerate. No problem in lower gear. In the past Ive left it in 6th all the time with no issue. Fluid level is fine. Thinking getting fluid analysis done. Any thoughts on this issue?

When was the last time the fuel filters were replaced ?

In 6th gear and needing to accelerate is about when the engine demands the most fuel.
If the filters are partially plugged, the fuel system will starve for fuel until the transmission downshifts. Once it downshifts the engine needs to develop less power, and use less fuel, to accelerate.

Okay. Fuel filters were changed in July when I had the injectors replaced.
