I am in the process of buying a 1996 Fleetwood American Dream. It only has 13000 miles on it, but has been parked for about 5 years. Have already checked the 300 Cummings out and it is O.K., but I dont know anything about the Allison tranny, whether I have things to worry about since it has been parked so long. Can some one give me some insight on this. Thanks

Are you able to have the transmission oil analyzed? This would tell you just about anything you would need to know.
