I prefer Ripple White, but I guess Ripple Red would be OK. It would certainly be more festive for the Holidays.

Absolutely not....the only way to do it right now is to totally drain the blinker fluid then pour in a quart of thread locker.........blink a few times then drain the blinker fluid using the bi-way Kanuten valve through the wifferdill. AND, if you don't do it this way don't be complaining here when your mid-waist tire goes flat.

That's odd... I thought the whole point of threadlock compound was to prevent things from twisting by themselves!

I must take exception to never seeing a transmission laying on the road.
Driving the Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia for over 9 years I have seen Engines, cylinder heads, clutch discs and pressure plates, and transmissions. Not to mention many tires with the rim attached.
The road is a virtual junk yard. A dump truck turned over years ago and they brought in a loader and roller to spread the asphalt load and a roll it smooth.

I left a transmission laying in the road back in about '66. Went for a shift at 7200 and when I hit the clutch all hell broke loose. Bits and pieces bouncing down the road behind me. Thank god for scatter shields. It was a pickup and when I got stopped and looked under it the starter was hanging underneath swinging on the battery cable. ROTSRLMAO (rolling on the side of the road laughing my a** off.)

Boy, if I heard a loud noise and looked in my mirror and saw something like that, it would surely ruin my day....

I thought about that. My '67 Camaro with a '66 396 hyd lifter engine had a 7,000 rpm red line and I used them all sometimes!! Never blew an engine nor the "rock crusher" trans. ¼ mile of 11.99 @ 126 mph through the mufflers in street trim
