In may of this year I purchased a 1998 HR Imperial. Love the rig, have put over 1600 miles on it since I purchased it with no problems until today. No idiot lights, nothing. Always checked the fluids before , during, and after each trip. I started the engine today and tried to move it out of the RV port and the tranny will not engage..... it is a push button model, Allison MD 3060, the 6 appears in the back block but not the 1 in the front block and I recieve a beep, beep, beep when I try to engage the tranny. checked the fluid both electronic and manually. both check good, or safe zone. did the D to R to dump and air in the lines but still nothing, only code I get out of it is an ( 0 7 ) ... Don't know what it is. any ideals will be greatly appericated...
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may provide.....

O X means "settling time too short" from the manual. No other codes beginning with 0.

FWIW I have heard of the plug being loose on the bottom of the selector giving problems. You might want to check it. I do not know if it is you problem because you said you have some lights, but it may be a partial disconnect.

I am a little confused as this being a 1998 year model, you should have a WTEC III series trans. If this is a Allison shifter it should have just one number in your display-N,6 or R. If you check the fluid with the shifter it will not give you a safe zone, only lo,hi,or ok. If the shifter beeps or flashes instead of engaging it usually means there is a shift inhibit. Do some more, see if it has a code stored, you can check this with just the key turned on.Be sure to check the simple things,I know of one person that called with the same problem.Trans workes fine after he turned off the fast idle.LOL

The beeping should be a clue. Is there a safety override function if the jacks are down and you put it in gear. That beeping is trying to tell you something. Stop and think about how the MH is setup and double check things.

The check fluid check on the up/down buttons of the Allison shifter are telling me
(O L) then (7 0) which is sump temp to low..../... but I also get a (d 1) don't know what it is, not listed in my book under Xmission codes. any thoughts...... I checked the jacks, they are up.... Check all the fuses all ok.
Thanks again for you input...

If in fact it is an Allison 3060 then I can tell you what problem I had with the same transmission in my old Southwind pusher. If the sump temperature was too low it would not shift into 1st gear. I had to let the fluid warm up a little then it would shift. If the weather was cold it would sometimes take 15 minutes to get warm enough to work. I sold the coach before I could determine what the underlying problem was.

Found this online Diagnostic code d1 is for Diagnostic code one d2 would be 2nd Diagnostic code etc. link http://www.icuee.com/Documents/VTS/B...ftSelector.pdf
DOUBLE DIGIT DISPLAY CODES
When the diagnostic
mode is entered, the
first code (position
d1)
is displayed as follows:

Example Code:
P O7 22

Displayed as:
d1, P,
07, 22

The Code Position
(d1)
is the first item

the Diagnostic Trouble
Code (DTC), **
P, 07, 22.

Each item is displayed
for about one second.
The display cycles
continuously until the

is accessed by pressing
the

If your engine idle is much above 750 RPM the transmission will not allow a shift into gear and will beep at you.

I'd also say check your fluid level. You have a dipstick and you can read your control panel. Caution: for the control panel to give you proper reading, the transmission oil has to be at 140 degrees or higher.
