Please help Allison Transmission people,

I consider myself a decent enough mechanic with plenty of broad knowhow, however the simplest thing is eluding me about my Allison MT 600 automatic transmission 600.

Where, in the name of god, is the transmission dipstick? I've been all over the tranny to as much as I could and I cannot find it. I feel ridiculous and nervous about taking it on the road until Im confident of the fluid levels.

The only thing that I can think of is that the dipstick could have been replaced with a bolt-dipstick affair and is probably why I may be missing it amongst the grease.

Incidentally, this is for my 1978 wanderlodge RV bus, converted school bus.

Thankyou for your time and ANY idea where this sucker is!
