Allison transmission shift inhibit

I have 2006 fleetwood discover 39l.allison 3000.I changed the house batteries then went to move motorhome and it started fine then about 15 seconds after it had check transmission and shift inhibit light.
Looks like a 1 on shifter screen.it will still move forward but when I turn the engine off and turn back on I have to shift to neutral then drive or reverse.in reverse it will only move about 10’ then shift to neutral.the code came up p0882.looks like a connection problem but have not had any luck.
Any help would be appreciated.thanks Scott

I downloaded and the battery and alternator tested good.The screen also says park set in gear.
I will be looking at the connections next.
