Allison wtec III shift pad

Has anyone had their shift pad rebuilt? and by who? and were you happy with the work. I believe I have the wtec III and the reverse button is starting to get a little iffy, sometimes taking a couple of pushes to engage reverse, everything else works as it should. Thanks in advance.

I never had work done by them, but I saved this site in my bookmarks due to a recommendation from this board.

For new WTEC III parts, the shift bezel is available as a service kit by itself. However, if the issue is in the actual dome switches on the circuit board, that part is not serviced new from Allison. You have to buy the shifter as an assembly.
You may find someone that has used parts available and can rebuild the assembly. Transmission Instruments has a good reputation based on what I have read here.

The display in mine failed so after researching used shift pads I decided to buy a new one. Surprised to find that the new one was the same price the salvage yards were charging for used ones. $400
